Veterinary Surgeon

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (with Honours)
• MSc in Animal science

Dr Maddie graduated from university of Peradenia in Sri Lanka 2008. In 2015, She completed National Veterinary Examination and since then she has spent her time in small animal practice across SA.

In 2018 , She successfully completed a post graduate small animal surgery course conducted by Sydney University, which allowed her to further improve her surgical skills. She has participated in a few workshops and courses on advanced small animal ultrasonography over the last 5 years . With above training, she has been able to perform routine abdominal ultrasound to diagnose a variety of diseases.

Currently, she has been doing a small animal internal medicine course conducted by Sydney University to further expand her knowledge on  medicine to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.

Dr Maddie enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, ultrasonography, preventative health care and dentistry.

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with family. She is a proud owner of an eight year old domestic short hair spicy female cat.
