Ruby – Veterinary Nurse

Ruby joined our team in 2021 and quickly proved herself to be a highly valued member of the clinic. With a calm, professional approach and a genuine love for animals, she brings both skill and compassion to every aspect of her work.

Whether she’s assisting in surgery, supporting clients during consultations, or caring for patients in recovery, Ruby approaches every task with quiet confidence and attention to detail. Her reliability, empathy and strong work ethic make her a trusted presence across the team.

Ruby is also especially caring with our unofficial clinic mascot, Mr Otis, who joins Dr Bird at work each day. Her gentle nature helps keep him calm and content in the clinic environment—and we suspect he thinks she’s here just for him!

She’s a steady, compassionate part of the team, and we’re lucky to have her.
